Zara Exotics started in Austin with one white Boxster and a simple idea: rent a great car the way you'd lend it to a friend, with a clear agreement, an honest walk-around and someone who actually answers the phone. Hundreds of trips later, it's still that.
You deal with the owner from first text to key return. No counter, no upsell, no surprise fees outside what's in your confirmation.

Before you book
Who can rent?
Every driver must be 25 or older with a valid, unrestricted license. Only drivers named on your confirmation may drive.
What insurance do I need?
Your own personal auto policy with full coverage (liability, collision and comprehensive) that extends to rental cars. We ask for the declarations page, not just the insurance card, and the policy must have been active for at least 30 days.
How do payment and the deposit work?
The rental is paid in full to confirm the booking. A refundable security deposit, starting at $500, is due 24 hours before pickup and returned within 7 days after the trip, minus any itemized charges.
How many miles are included?
150 miles per day. Extra miles are billed per mile at the car's standard daily rate divided by 150.
Do you deliver?
Yes. We deliver and collect anywhere in the Austin area, including AUS, for a fee quoted with your booking. Dallas, Houston and San Antonio deliveries can be arranged for longer trips.
What's the cancellation policy?
Cancel at least 48 hours before the start (or 12 hours for bookings made inside 48 hours) for a full refund. Your deposit is always refunded if the trip doesn't happen.
Can I take the car out of Texas or to a track?
No. Cars stay on paved public roads in Texas. Track days, racing, rideshare and smoking are not allowed. The full rental policy covers everything.
